Electromechanical Technician Assembler

|Description:||Assemble proprietary electromechanical testing equipment from finished parts and raw materials. Make and install cables and wire harnesses to connect motors and electrical equipment. Fabricate or modify custom parts as necessary. Perform testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of equipment as necessary. Clean and refurbish used equipment. |
|Duties:||Able to follow CAD drawings as well as written and verbal instructions.|
Able to strip, splice, crimp, and solder wires and cable assemblies and use a digital multimeter.
Able to operate hand and bench power tools such as drills, saws, and sanders.
Proficient with hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, chisels, punches, files, banding tools, rivet tools, & tubing cutters.
Proficient with a variety of adhesives, coatings, fasteners, lubricants, and solvents.
Able to use calipers, scales, squares, and other layout tools.
Familiar with 110V and 220V AC systems as well as low-voltage circuits.
Familiar with basic plumbing and pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
|Qualifications:||High School diploma or GED. |
2+ years technical training.
2+ years assembly/fabrication experience.
Good electrical skills and mechanical aptitude.
Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.
Clean criminal history. Able to lift up to 60 pounds.
Position requires stooping, bending, kneeling.
Must be able to work with limited supervision.
